The direct PQRcode (Picture QR code) embeds information or the URL destination directly into the code. Because of the direct embedding, the size of the code is directly proportional to the number of characters to be embedded. Also, if the content encoded into the code is a hyperlink, the code can only link to the predetermined destination and cannot be changed afterward because the encoding process is irreversible. Generating PQRcode (Picture QR code) is flexible enough that the readability (the rate of successful decode the PQRcode (Picture QR code)), the reproducible (how easy the printer or display reproduces the color) and the quality (how close the visual appearance to the original image) of the PQRcode (Picture QR code) can be tuned to cater different situations through a set of control parameters.
